A calm space for adults carrying more than they let on
In-person and online support across Derbyshire and the UK
You may be used to coping.
Continuing to function, support others and keep things moving externally, while internally feeling emotionally tired, overwhelmed or disconnected.
Perhaps things have not “collapsed”, but something no longer feels sustainable.
Therapy can offer space to pause, reflect and begin understanding what has gradually become difficult to carry alone.
Hi, I’m Jo
I know that reaching out for therapy is not always easy.
Especially for people who are used to coping, thinking deeply, supporting others or holding a great deal internally.
My approach is gentle, collaborative and trauma-informed, offering a calm space where experiences can be explored at your own pace, without pressure to have everything figured out.
Together we can begin to understand patterns that may no longer be sustainable and explore what it might mean to feel more grounded, connected and resourced.
Rooted in compassion.
Rising in wholeness.
What working together might feel like
An unhurried conversation.
Space to think out loud, without needing to explain everything perfectly.
Moments where something begins to make sense.
Support that helps you reconnect with your own footing, boundaries and sense of self.
A space where you do not need to carry everything alone.
You do not need to wait until things become unbearable to reach out.
A brief initial conversation can help us decide whether working together feels supportive and aligned to you.
